| How long does it take to get fit for new boots? |
It can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour for a boot fitting. Typically this includes 20-30 minutes of trying on boots, 10-15 minutes of insole education, and 15 minutes of heating boots and molding the inner liner to your legs and feet.

| What if I go skiing and have issues with my new boots? |
This is why you buy boots from Sitzmark. Our customers are always welcome to call/come back in to the store if discomfort or issues arise during your ski trip! One of our boot fitters will sit down with you and discuss the issues you are having. We have dozens of solutions for a myriad of on-mountain issues you may be facing.
|
| Which boots are right for me? |
Many factors go into finding the right boot for you. We will begin with measuring your foot (both length and width), looking at lower leg volume, discussing your skiing type, and issues you may have encountered in the past. These factors will direct our boot fitters to find the correct length, last, flex rating, and brand of boot that will fit you the best. Ultimately, the physical fit on your foot will be the deciding factor - which is why it is so difficult to buy ski/snowboard boots online.

| Do you rent equipment? |
We no longer rent equipment. Our store does not have the space or demand to support this service. Your best bet is to find a rental location near the resort you will be skiing at. Snow Creek offers rentals. Also, make sure to check the ski pass that you have purchased for discounts on rentals through associated shops. You often can get discounts for reserving online ahead of time as well.
|
| Do you sell lift tickets? |
We no longer sell ski passes. Unfortunately, through covid our travel department closed; and changes in resort structure no longer allows us to provide lift tickets at a discount to our customers.
|
| How often should I service my equipment? |
This is variable. There are many factors that affect the frequency of waxing or tuning your skis. General guidelines include:
Waxing | every 4-5 days of skiing, between trips, or when you feel that you are slowing down or sticking while skiing Tuning | at least every season, or between trips if you came in contact with any rocks, trees, terrain parks that may have damaged your edges Storage Wax | At the end of each ski season to protect your bases and edges from drying out or rusting during storage
|
| Do you run sales? |
We do run various sales throughout the year - especially at the end of the season or during the offseason; however there are industry restrictions on this. Current product pricing of skis, snowboards, and boots is set by the manufacturer. This means that we are not able to run sales on current season products. These prices will be the same across all retailers. We are only able to run sales on products as the manufacturer allows or when they are no longer current season products.
|
| Will you buy my old skis/snowboards? |
The short answer is no, we do not purchase used skis. However, we do provide a 'consignment' service for current customers on a case by case basis. Skis must be models sold within the last few years with bindings that are still current, and are in relatively good shape. We are a small shop and do not have room to store a vast selection of used skis. Talk with one of our employees if you have equipment that may fit these guidelines. Facebook marketplace is often the best place to find a new home for your equipment.
This program is most often utilized for kids equipment. We know that kids grow out of equipment quickly. So we offer consignment (for store credit if the product sells) to assist you in getting proper fitting equipment for you child, and pass on the equipment to another family at a discount.
